Super lupin!

Having seen lupin advertised as the newest superfood, I decided to take the plunge and try it for myself. I've been adding the flakes as a supplement into a variety of my meals, from smoothies to salads, the flavour is not overpowering in the slightest and so really is super easy to add it to almost anything to add an extra boost of nutrition.
Delivery was speedy, will definitely repurchase from here!

A great way to nutri-fy our meals!

Having had lupin introduced and recommended to us by a friend, we gave it a go - and now we're hooked! We're vegan and always trying to make sure we are filling our plates with healthy and nutritious food, and so have found it really wonderful to add spoonfuls of this little wonder-flake into our meals... especially those quick weeknight meals that might not be as protein-packed as we would hope. We add it to our rice (in the rice cooker), couscous, quinoa, porridge etc. The flavour is subtle which makes it very versatile, but it certainly adds a little something to our other grains, and it's great to know that we are swapping out some 'empty' carbs, and swapping in some nutrition.

Surprisingly versatile!

I didn't know what to expect when I first tried lupin flakes, but I have enjoyed trying out the various different ways you can prepare and eat them. I have mixed them in my oats to soak in overnight, cooked them in porridge, sprinkled on salads (either raw, or pre-toasted in a dry pan), and boiled them in water. The latter is one of my favourite ways to eat them as they make a great alternative to grains such as quinoa. A little really goes a long way as well. When using instead of quinoa, I cooked 40g and that was plenty for one portion. When mixing in porridge or sprinkling on salads I only used about 10g. The taste is a little bit nutty but not overpowering so they're perfect if you want to add other flavours. The nutritional profile is impressive as well. I would buy these again!
