Preparation time 25 minutes
270g TLC Lupin Protein Flakes
160g desiccated coconut
30g ground almonds
200g cup dates
6 tablespoons water
- Add lupin flakes to a hot dry pan and stir continuously over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes until golden, or roast on a baking tray in a low oven (150°C) until golden. Allow to cool.
- Use a food processor or blender to combine all ingredients together.
- Roll into bite size balls.
This recipe is suitable for home freezing.
For an added treat try rolling the balls in desiccated coconut and chopped cranberries, crushed almonds or even sesame seeds.
